Everyone loves a warm drink after a good ski. These are our favorite. You can always make them without the alcohol.
Hot Chocolate and Whiskey
Ingredients:
Hot Chocolate Powder
Hot Water
Whiskey
Milk (optional)
This one is simple. Mix up your favorite hot chocolate as per the direction’s minus about 50ml or water. Once mixed add one shot of Irish Whiskey. We recommend Carnation Simply Hot Chocolate and Jameson Irish Whiskey, but you can use any whiskey or bourbon you like.
Honey and Lemon Soother
Ingredients:
1/8 Cup of Honey
1 Cup of Hot Water
½ Lemon
Vodka
Ginger (optional)
Another simple recipe, stir the honey in the hot water, add the juice from half the lemon (and a lemon slice or two and maybe zest for visual appeal) Then add the desired amount of vodka (we recommend about 1 shot). You can add a bit of ginger to the water before you boil it for a bit of extra zip.
Mexican Coffee
Ingredients:
Coffee
Tequila
Kahlua
1 Scoop Vanilla Ice Cream
Make your favorite cup of coffee then add half a shot of Tequila and half a shot of Kahlua (or more if you like). Mix and add a healthy scoop of ice-cream on top.
Hot Toddy
Ingredients:
1 Cup of boiling water
1 Shot of Whiskey
Lemon Juice (to taste)
Boil your water, add Whiskey, and then add Lemon Juice to taste. We use about half a lemon per cup. Lemon slices or zest make an excellent addition and give it bit of a fancy look.
Chai Tea Toddy
Ingredients:
1 Cup of Hot Chai Tea
1 Tablespoon of Sugar
Milk (to taste)
Spiced Rum
Pinch of Ground Cinnamon
Make your Chai tea, add the sugar, and about 1 shot of spiced rum. Then add the mike to taste (it is even better if you steam it) and a pinch ground cinnamon on top. Fast, easy, and yummy!
Chocolate Sam
Ingredients:
1 Cup of prepared Hot Chocolate
1 Shot of Demerara or Dark Rum
Marshmallows (optional)
Simple as it gets. Make hot chocolate add a shot of Demerara or dark rum. Top with some marshmallow. If you can get Old Sam rum, then that is even better.
